Building an AI-Powered Training Workflow
Building an AI-Driven Training Workflow
On May 5, 2026, St. John Media worked with Dynaimix AI at its headquarters in Horsham, Pennsylvania to develop a scalable, AI-driven training video workflow.
The project involved filming approximately five Dynaimix AI trainers with the goal of creating realistic AI avatars that could subsequently be incorporated into ongoing educational content.
To create each avatar, St. John Media filmed the trainers individually using a controlled professional camera and lighting setup.
The objective was not to have each person deliver a highly scripted performance.
Instead, trainers were encouraged to speak naturally to the camera using their normal tone, cadence, mannerisms, and conversational style.
Capturing those characteristics helped the resulting digital avatars feel representative of the actual trainers.
Creating the AI Avatars
St. John Media then used HeyGen to generate AI avatars based on the captured material.
The next stage involved combining those avatars with the actual expertise of the Dynaimix trainers.
For each lesson, trainers worked through their training material on their computers while creating screen recordings and recording their accompanying narration.
Those screen recordings and audio tracks were then provided to St. John Media.
St. John Media combined the software demonstrations, trainer narration, and AI-generated presenter into finished training videos.
Creating a Repeatable Production Pipeline
The result was a repeatable production pipeline.
Instead of requiring trainers to return to a traditional video production environment every time a new lesson was needed, Dynaimix could record the substance of a lesson and St. John Media could build a polished video around it using the trainer’s established digital avatar.
As of August 2026, this workflow has been used to create approximately 20 individual training lessons.
Combining Traditional Production With AI
The Dynaimix project represents an evolving area of St. John Media’s work: combining traditional cinematography and post-production with emerging artificial-intelligence tools to create content systems that can scale.
